Have you ever cried on arrival?
When I stepped onto the jetty of Malolo Island, looked up and beheld the spectacular white, plantation style facade of the main building set against the tropical forest, I was so overcome with emotion at the breathtaking beauty of the place that I cried. The soulful voices of the people welcoming us, addressing us as family, added to the theft of my heart which took place that day.
That was four years ago and Fiji has never left my heart since.
This was not my first visit to the islands. I visited Mana Island a few years prior and had a longing to return to Fiji. But it was many years before I was able to visit again. The hospitality, generosity and kindness of the people planted a desire in me to keep returning, even if it was only through my memories.
So I hope you enjoy the adventure I’m about to take you on through the Traveller’s Telegram.
The Traveller’s Telegram - Print Mail Club
Imagine exploring a new dream destination every quarter. Every month, you receive something beautiful in the mail to connect you to that destination. And you are invited to dive deeper every week to discover the natural beauty, meet the extraordinary people and learn about their history and culture.
I created the Traveller’s Telegram to provide a little escape, introduce you to new places, spoil you with beautiful art and connect you to the incredible people who take care of these locations and preserve them for future generations.
Each month members receive a selection of prints, postcards, stickers, magnets and coasters of the location.
Each quarter we select an organisation or two to support, raising funds through my paintings for projects that are important to the local people.
I invite you to escape with me. Explore with me. And shine a light on these wonderful locations, their people and their conservation with me.

When I posted the above painting and tagged the Malolo Island Resort, they received quite an outpouring of love from people who felt the same way I did. Since then, I’ve had many people reach out to me, sharing their stories and requesting paintings. It’s created so many wonderful connections. I’d love for you to be part of this community.
